Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Salwan Nayyef ("we", "us"), who runs Aflamek: the website aflamek.com and the Aflamek apps for iOS and Android ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Aflamek is a catalogue and community for movies, series and anime. It does not provide full-length films or episodes. Trailers play through YouTube and are subject to YouTube's terms.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
• Give accurate details, including your date of birth. Keep your password secret and do not impersonate anyone. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• You can delete your account at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, adapt and display it on the Service and in promotion of the Service. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

Post only content you have the right to share, and mark clips that contain spoilers or sensitive material. Clips are reviewed before they appear publicly, and we may decline any clip.

5. No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users

We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Do not:

• post unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual or graphically violent content, or anything that sexualises a minor;
• infringe copyright or other rights, including by posting full or substantial parts of films or episodes;
• share other people's personal information without their permission;
• post spam or fake reviews, manipulate ratings, likes or views, or use bots or multiple accounts;
• scrape the Service, attack its security, or use it for anything illegal.

You can block (mute) any member so you no longer see their content. You can report content in the app or by emailing support@aflamek.com. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend or ban the accounts that posted it.

6. Content requests

A content request is a suggestion. We may reject any request. Requests for unauthorised copies of films or episodes will be rejected and may lead to suspension.

7. Our rights

The Service and the Aflamek name belong to us. Posters, trailers and other material about titles belong to their rights holders and are shown for identification and discussion. You may use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email support@aflamek.com with: the work, where the infringing content appears, your contact details, and a statement that you own the rights or act for the owner. We remove infringing content and close the accounts of repeat infringers.

9. Suspension and termination

We may remove content, and suspend or close accounts, that break these terms or the law. If you think we made a mistake, email support@aflamek.com. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is". We do not promise that it will always be available or that catalogue information is accurate. Reviews and comments are their authors' own opinions.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability, or your rights as a consumer, where the law does not allow it.

11. Changes

We may change the Service or these terms. We will update the effective date above and tell you in the Service about significant changes. If you keep using the Service after a change, the new terms apply. The current version is always at aflamek.com/terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Iraq. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring a claim in its courts.

13. App stores

If you downloaded an app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's terms also apply. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the Service or its content.
